    In recent years, Qingyang Institute has innovatively integrated the concept of green exploration throughout the entire process of geological exploration.     The belt filter press developed by Qingyang Institute is a continuous solid-liquid separation equipment with features of compact structure, small footprint, high efficiency, and good operating environment. It consists of components such as frame, transmission device, cloth device, alignment device, tensioning device, washing device, discharging device, pressing roller system, liquid collection tank, and electrical system. It is mainly used for dewatering treatment of sludge with low solid content and without pre-concentration.
    At the geothermal geological drilling site in the urban area of ​​Zhenyuan County, the green exploration management system sign is fixed at the prominent entrance of the project, and the belt filter press is also working intensively. The flocculated suspended material is dehydrated of most free water in the gravity dewatering section, and the material is gradually concentrated. Then, the belt filter press flips and discharges the material between the upper and lower filter belts, enters the wedge zone for pre-press dewatering, goes through the main dewatering and radial dewatering, and enters a series of pressure rollers arranged in an S-shape from large to small diameter for final dewatering until a mud cake is formed. In this process, the mud is subjected to squeezing and shearing forces from small to large, which can remove most of the free water and some capillary water.
    After repeated verification, the technical experimental results have met expectations.
